We would invite you to come to Chiba in Japan to participate in the Workshop on Topological Lightwave Synthesis (T-LWS).

The Workshop will be scheduled in July 5-6, 2012.

This meeting aims to present and learn about up-to-date technical developments and new technologies related in the field of topological lightwave such as optical vortex and vectorial beam, and its satellite topics. In particular, the meeting also welcomes laser technologies and nonlinear effects for optical vortex and vectrial beam.

This meeting will also provide scientific and professional networking as well as scientific inspiration discuss to the attendee.

Prof. Takashige Omatsu from the Graduate School of Advanced Integration Science, Chiba University in Japan is a committee-in-chief of the meeting. Prof. Ryuji Morita from Hokkaido University is a co-committee member.

In addition, Chiba has a good public transport to many historical and cultural places such as Asakusa, Kamakura, Tateyama, and Tokyo Disney-land, and it provides a perfect environment for you to learn about Japanese history and culture. In particular, Tokyo bay night cruise ( will be scheduled as an excursion.

The session will be in Main Meeting Room (1 floor), Graduate School of Science and Technology building 1 in Chiba University. The meeting is also supported by the Japan Science and Technology Agency and Light-wave synthesis research group in Optical Society of Japan. Registration fee for oversea attendees will be free.
